![]() installing a engine from a 1997 pontiac gtp in a dune buggy? A friend of mine wants help installing a supercharged 6 cylinder pontiac engine in a dune buggy. It already has the nonaspirated gm version in it. The question I have is does anyone happen to know where I can figure what wires on the computer need to be powered up to make the thing run. the engine has the computer and the harness. just need to know what to supply : start, oil pressure, battery, tach. and so on. just the bare essentials It will need every wire connected as it was in the car to run well.If not,the computer will run it in limp mode with far less power. |

Oregon photos
Oregon is a fantastic place for photography. Oregon's coast is great to visit any time of the year. The many beaches, steep green hillsides, beautiful rock formations, and inviting coastal towns make it an outstanding travel destination. The drive along Highway 101 in Oregon is definitely the scenic route. It largely follows the coastline affording good access to coastal towns, beaches, and other attractions.
The north coast starts south of Astoria, which is at the mouth of the Columbia River, one of the largest rivers in the US. Seaside and Cannon Beach are both great coastal downs in the north coast. Haystack Rock, a 235 foot rock formation just off the coast in Cannon Beach, is not to be missed. Farther south and slightly inland, Tillamook, is home to the famous Tillamook cheese and tours are offered.
The central coast has many great attractions. The Oregon Dunes provide fantastic recreation. They are best accessed by ATVs or dune buggies but the steep descents can also be skiied. There are miles of trails and open beaches to explore There are also many lakes in this region with excellent fishing.
The central coast is also home to sea caves, with one near Florence being advertised as the largest in the world and also provides a home to hundreds of sea lions. Sea Lion Caves is a popular tourist destination and also provides a beautiful view of the steep green hillsides descending to the ocean, a waterfall, and Heceda Head Lighthouse. Oregon's largest coastal city and protected coastal inlet, Coos Bay, is also in the central coast.
Going south from Coos Bay, Bandon is a beautiful city home to some of the country's highest rated golf courses. Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes are two top courses that show off the best of American link style golf. Port Orford is a pleasant coastal city with outstanding scenery and beautiful offshore rock formations. The mouth of the Rogue River is in Gold Beach, which is home to many scenic rock formations as is the Brookings, which is just a few miles north of the California border.
