 Sound from wheel well - Bad suspension or wheel bearing? I am hearing a damped thump sound from the driver side wheel well when run in humps or potholes. I have a bad boot not sure CV is causing that noise. I am also thinking it may be due to suspension or bearing. Anyidea? id say a bad strut, but why dont you jack it up, and check for play side to side,and use a bar under the tire to gently pry up and feel for movement, a thump will be major movement, but if you look youll find it.do your homework before asking, now you know how.could be a cv joint binding, but i dont think so. |
